Business Garden Warsaw welcomes new tenant

Inoffice Group has leased 1,668 m2 of modern office space in Business Garden Warsaw. Inoffice offers flexible workspace for companies seeking ready and fully equipped offices. The offer is dedicated to both small entities and larger companies that need a temporary space for their project teams. The office in Business Garden Warsaw will be the seventh location of Inoffice in Poland. Karolina Pawłowska, Leasing Manager at Vastint Poland says, “Services offered by Inoffice Group will enrich the Business Garden’s offer. It will be an interesting alternative for new customers looking for a small office space, ready to be leased immediately, or a temporary space, often needed by customers just after signing the lease agreement during the period of fit-out works. Certainly, the Inoffice’s proposition will also be interesting for the existing tenants of our complex, that occasionally report the need for an additional office or conference space. In both cases, the advantage of the proposed solution is a short, flexible rental period.” Aleksandra Wojtasik, Managing Director of Inoffice Group says, “We offer traditional offices from 2 to 50 workplaces in open spaces, temporary workplaces, so-called hot desking, and conference rooms for up to 14 people. In a very short time we are able to prepare any division of rooms and provide a wide selection of office furniture. We stand out with a flexible approach to the needs of our clients, providing a space to work in accordance with their expectations and needs.” Business Garden consists of seven buildings surrounded by a large garden with relaxation areas and sports facilities, offering a total of 90,000 m2 of office space. The complex is located at Żwirki i Wigury Street, near the Fast City Train station connecting the airport with the Central Railway Station. In addition, a new NS expressway is planned near the complex, connecting the southern parts of the city with the Warsaw ring road. The complex also offer services of a hotel, conference centre, restaurant and fitness club.     Source: Vastint

Demolition of the Silesia Hotel in Katowice starts

Vastint Poland starts demolition of the Silesia hotel at Ks. Piotra Skargi Street in Katowice. The works were entrusted to a demolition company from the TREE Group. Their completion is planned in September 2019. In place of the old hotel a project known as Nova Silesia – a complex of office and hotel buildings of an area of 35,000 m2 – will be developed. Rafał Kociatkiewicz, Project Manager, Vastint Poland says, “It is important for us that the demolition works should be carried out smoothly and without unnecessary inconvenience to the residents of Katowice. We are convinced that the TREE Group, which has already taken over the construction site will handle the works very well. After the site is decluttered, we will quickly proceed with the preparation of the development of a new project: two modern 13-story office buildings and a hotel with 144 rooms.” Anna Lewicka, Site Manager, TREE Capital Sp. z o.o., says: “The principal demolition works will take five months. The building is located in the very centre of the city which will require us to take additional actions to minimize any nuisance related to the demolition works and disposal of large amounts of debris. Furthermore, the hotel was built at the beginning of 1970’s and some materials used in the construction process are presently considered as harmful. We have to apply special protection measures and working procedures during the removal of such materials.  We will also wish to recover as much raw materials as possible to recycle them.  We will begin from dismantling the neon sign of the Silesia hotel which Vastint Poland wishes to hand over to the city to be later used in the public space of the city.” A complex of modern buildings with a hotel and office function will be developed in the place of the old Silesia hotel. The planned scheme, i.e. a hotel with an area of approximately 5,000 m2 and two office buildings of an area of 30,000 m2, will enrich the offer in the very centre of Katowice. The construction of the Nova Silesia project will most probably start in 2019. The design is prepared by the architects of APA Wojciechowski.     Source: Vastint

They ran across Wola for Autism

Nearly 80 people took part in the third edition of the Blue Charity Run, which kicked off at 10 a.m. on 12 April and was organised by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. This year its participants included for the first time not only Cushman & Wakefield employees, but also representatives of other firms. The city game “Across Wola for Autism”, developed by Adventure Warsaw, was a new feature of the run’s format. The funds raised thanks to the participants’ commitment totalled PLN 10,000 and were donated to the Mądre Główki Foundation, which supports families and children affected by autism. 2 April is the World Autism Awareness Day and marks the beginning of the World Autism Awareness Month to draw attention to the needs of people with autism. To express solidarity with those affected by autism, the real estate market promotes the campaign “Light It Up Blue” during which buildings are illuminated in blue. In April, Cushman & Wakefield also organises its Blue Charity Run. This year, the third edition of the Blue Charity Run was combined with the city game “Across Wola for Autism”. The event was attended by 16 teams, including representatives of the Mądre Główki Foundation. During the five-kilometre run its participants had to complete nine tasks connected with the district’s history and the real estate market. The first team to reach the finish line was the “Industrial Fun Factory” team, which included representatives of Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Agency. After the run, all its participants and the supporters of the Blue Charity Run were invited to a picnic that was held at the 19. Dzielnica housing estate, 47 Kolejowa Street. Firms which took part in the event included Atlas Tower Sp. z o.o., Cushman & Wakefield, Mądre Główki Foundation, JLL, MAXON Nieruchomości and PRA Group Polska sp. z o.o. “We have been organising the Blue Charity Run to raise funds to support the Foundation and Integrated Kindergarten Mądre Główki for three years. However, this year’s edition was unique as we ran in such a large group for the first time. I would like to thank all the people who took part in this noble initiative and invite everyone to join our next year’s run. I hope to see more and more firms at the start line in the coming years,” said Kinga Bloch, Partner, Cushman & Wakefield.    Source: Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield represents WeWork at Europejski

With effect from this month, the Landlord Representation team of global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield will support WeWork in attracting new tenants to its flexible office at Europejski Offices. Europejski Offices will be WeWork’s third coworking location in Warsaw and is expected to open in late May or early June this year. It will feature innovative solutions and a modern design known from the operator’s other locations in the capital city. WeWork members enjoy all amenities: the support of a community manager, access to events and special training for community members, a shared kitchen, a chillout zone and unlimited wireless internet access. Other benefits of the coworking space in Krakowskie Przedmieście Street include openable windows and private terraces offering views of Piłsudskiego Square, the Saxon Park and the Presidential Palace. “Europejski is one of the most prestigious locations in Warsaw which will soon become available to WeWork’s tenants. We anticipate that this office will attract strong occupier interest and that we will successfully fill this space in a short time. Large organisations enjoy the convenience of coworking space, especially where they need to build a larger team to work on new projects and quickly provide employees with space for creative collaboration. In addition, due to legislative changes to accounting standards, such space appears an attractive alternative to traditional leases,” says Anna Górska-Kwiatkowska, Partner, Office Agency, Cushman & Wakefield. H.E.S.A. is the owner and investor of Europejski.     Source: Cushman & Wakefield
