The SmartScore certification system is a new standard for the evaluation of intelligent office buildings. It was developed by the American company WiredScore in cooperation with global leaders in the real estate industry - owners and users of the most technologically advanced office buildings in the world. The first company authorized to carry out SmartScore certification in Poland was Colliers, which supported Ghelamco in this process. The Bridge office building received the highest possible rating - at the Platinum level.

At the same time, the office building was the first in the region to obtain the platinum WiredScore certificate, confirming the building's digital connectivity and readiness for future technologies.

At Ghelamco, we always aim high and strive to be pioneers in the market. In 2010, we were the first in Poland to certify the building in the BREEAM system, and now we are the first in this part of Europe to be proud of SmartScore and WiredScore certificates. What makes me happy is the highest possible rating for The Bridge, which was largely due to Signal OS developed by Ghelamco. This is a clear signal that our investments are at the highest world level when it comes to intelligent solutions and the implementation of ESG assumptions - comments Jarosław Zagórski, commercial and development director at Ghelamco Poland.

As part of the SmartScore certification, the technological solutions used in The Bridge building were analyzed against two main criteria. The first are functional technologies that translate into user safety and comfort, the second - technical parameters such as digital connectivity, cyber security and data flow systems.

The Bridge was well prepared for the SmartScore and WiredScore certification process. Even so, SmartScore managed to push the boundaries of what's possible and inspired Ghelamco to develop some new building functions to achieve the highest possible level. I believe that this is an important event for the PropTech market in Poland. SmartScore has set a global standard and The Bridge has proven that Poland is a serious player in the market of truly intelligent buildings, emphasizes Renata Hartle, technology solutions manager at Colliers, who is also the first accredited SmartScore specialist in Central and Eastern Europe.

Te Bridge is a skyscraper over 170 m, designed by the Dutch architectural studio UNStudio. The building will use the proprietary operating system Ghelamco - Signal OS, which is used to manage the facility. It allows, among others for sustainable water and energy management as well as air treatment control with its monitoring. Its element is a mobile application that allows, among others moving around the building without an access card or booking rooms, desks and parking spaces.

The Bridge will offer future users a total of 47 thousand. sq m office space. There will be a terrace on the 40th floor of the skyscraper. The building will be equipped with approximately 280 parking spaces, including electric car chargers, and a dedicated parking lot for electric bicycles and scooters, with 31 charging points. Cyclists will be able to use almost 150 places for bicycles and changing rooms with showers.

In addition to SmartScore and WiredScore, the newest Ghelamco skyscraper will also be certified in the WELL, WELL Health Safety Rating, BREEAM, Green Building Standard and Barrier-free systems.
