They ran across Wola for Autism

Nearly 80 people took part in the third edition of the Blue Charity Run, which kicked off at 10 a.m. on 12 April and was organised by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. This year its participants included for the first time not only Cushman & Wakefield employees, but also representatives of other firms. The city game “Across Wola for Autism”, developed by Adventure Warsaw, was a new feature of the run’s format. The funds raised thanks to the participants’ commitment totalled PLN 10,000 and were donated to the Mądre Główki Foundation, which supports families and children affected by autism. 2 April is the World Autism Awareness Day and marks the beginning of the World Autism Awareness Month to draw attention to the needs of people with autism. To express solidarity with those affected by autism, the real estate market promotes the campaign “Light It Up Blue” during which buildings are illuminated in blue. In April, Cushman & Wakefield also organises its Blue Charity Run. This year, the third edition of the Blue Charity Run was combined with the city game “Across Wola for Autism”. The event was attended by 16 teams, including representatives of the Mądre Główki Foundation. During the five-kilometre run its participants had to complete nine tasks connected with the district’s history and the real estate market. The first team to reach the finish line was the “Industrial Fun Factory” team, which included representatives of Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Agency. After the run, all its participants and the supporters of the Blue Charity Run were invited to a picnic that was held at the 19. Dzielnica housing estate, 47 Kolejowa Street. Firms which took part in the event included Atlas Tower Sp. z o.o., Cushman & Wakefield, Mądre Główki Foundation, JLL, MAXON Nieruchomości and PRA Group Polska sp. z o.o. “We have been organising the Blue Charity Run to raise funds to support the Foundation and Integrated Kindergarten Mądre Główki for three years. However, this year’s edition was unique as we ran in such a large group for the first time. I would like to thank all the people who took part in this noble initiative and invite everyone to join our next year’s run. I hope to see more and more firms at the start line in the coming years,” said Kinga Bloch, Partner, Cushman & Wakefield.    Source: Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield represents WeWork at Europejski

With effect from this month, the Landlord Representation team of global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield will support WeWork in attracting new tenants to its flexible office at Europejski Offices. Europejski Offices will be WeWork’s third coworking location in Warsaw and is expected to open in late May or early June this year. It will feature innovative solutions and a modern design known from the operator’s other locations in the capital city. WeWork members enjoy all amenities: the support of a community manager, access to events and special training for community members, a shared kitchen, a chillout zone and unlimited wireless internet access. Other benefits of the coworking space in Krakowskie Przedmieście Street include openable windows and private terraces offering views of Piłsudskiego Square, the Saxon Park and the Presidential Palace. “Europejski is one of the most prestigious locations in Warsaw which will soon become available to WeWork’s tenants. We anticipate that this office will attract strong occupier interest and that we will successfully fill this space in a short time. Large organisations enjoy the convenience of coworking space, especially where they need to build a larger team to work on new projects and quickly provide employees with space for creative collaboration. In addition, due to legislative changes to accounting standards, such space appears an attractive alternative to traditional leases,” says Anna Górska-Kwiatkowska, Partner, Office Agency, Cushman & Wakefield. The south of Poland wins the fight for tenants from the business services sector

Kraków occupies the second place in terms of office space after Warsaw. It also maintains the position of a regional leader in the BPO / SSC sector. However, serious competition is growing. Tenants from the business services sector alongside Kraków are increasingly choosing Wroclaw and Katowice - according to the CBRE report "Poland Office Destinations 2019" dedicated to regional office markets. The advantage of Katowice is the proximity of neighboring cities forming the Silesian agglomeration. Wrocław, on the other hand, provides access to experienced staff specialized in information technology.

Second phase of Business Garden Poznan commissioned

The new office buildings developed by Vastint Poland, located at Pastelowa Street in Poznań, have received an occupancy permit. The scheme which is the second phase of Business Garden consists of five office-service buildings with an area of 46,000 m2 and a free-standing multi-level parking garage. The ambition of Vastint Poland is to acquire the LEED Platinum certificates for all newly constructed buildings of the complex. Michał Wojciechowski, Project Manager at Vastint Poland says, “After 26 months of construction works we completed the second and final phase of Business Garden Poznan. The project was developed in compliance with sustainability standards. The implemented solutions, such as an energy-saving air-conditioning system, optimal access to daylight, the use of high-quality finishing materials and a large share of green areas constituting the extension of common space will ensure comfortable working conditions for almost four thousand new workers.” Magdalena Makuch, Leasing Manager Vastint Poland, says, “One of the trends we presently notice on the labour market is the significant difference in the role of a workplace. In addition to its main role, i.e. to ensure healthy and comfortable working conditions, social aspects are becoming increasingly important. A workplace is expected to serve as a space which stimulates creativity, communication and mobility of workers. Business Garden and the facilities implemented by us perfectly fit into the currently addressed tenants’ needs. We offer not only efficient and flexible office lay-out, but  also a variety of accompanying services, including a kindergarten, canteen, fitness club and medical centre, but also integration places and sport zones with basketball and volleyball playgrounds in the surrounding garden.” Business Garden Poznan is a modern office complex consists of nine class A office buildings of a total leasable area of 88,000 m2 spread over a 6-hectare plot within the streets of Marcelińska, Bułgarska and Łubieńska. Proximity to the airport facilitates traveling for business customers, and the direct vicinity of bus and modernised road system of the newly created Kolorowa and Pastelowa Streets will guarantee workers easy access to the premises. The complex is characterized by low-rise buildings, large share of green areas and a vast range of amenities adjusted to the tenants’ needs. Owing to well-designed floor plans, Business Garden allows effective arrangements of office space, while the scale of the project enables expansion.     Source: Vastint
